Patchstack is looking for a web designer experienced in designing highly converting scalable (WordPress) websites and landing pages.
What is Patchstack
We are a team passionate about open-source and security. We protect website owners and developers from hackers by mitigating vulnerabilities before hackers can exploit them. To find these vulnerabilities, we run and nurture a bug bounty for a community of ethical hackers. We also have a managed vulnerability disclosure program for WordPress plugin creators to help them fix these vulnerabilities.
We run a managed vulnerability disclosure platform (mVDP) to help plugin developers comply with emerging security guidelines and fix security vulnerabilities faster.
We provide vulnerability intelligence to some of the biggest WordPress hosting companies;
We provide professional code review and security auditing for WordPress plugin creators.
Who are we looking for?
This role requires a motivated individual with strong ownership in independently designing and continuously improving our .com website, landing pages and more. On the daily you will also collaborate with the marketing and product teams to help package complex information into clear, digestible pieces. We’re looking for someone who is eager to embrace challenges, and learn.
We are not looking for fresh UIUX course graduates with fictional portfolio work.
Key responsibilities
Collaborate with the marketing and product team on continuous iterations to optimize value delivery;
Develop, prototype, maintain and document a library of website blocks, flows and templates;
Assist the marketing team with design tasks related to other publishable content;
Enforce design persistency and fidelity across deliverables;
Collaborate and corroborate with the hand-off and development of the website;
Proactively troubleshoot usability, responsiveness, accessibility and other issues.
Key requirements
Experienced user of Figma and designing within systems;
Previous experience designing conversion-focused websites and landing pages;
Comfortable with taking high ownership over deliverables and time management;
A work-ethic suitable for full-remote work and agile collaboration;
Good knowledge of design principles, UIUX patterns, UX writing, responsive design and accessibility;
Open-minded communicator and collaborator with very good verbal and written English;
Timezone UTC-1 to UTC+4.
Nice to have
Basic understanding of CSS and (WordPress) coding limitations;
Previous experience working in a SaaS, web or design agency or as a freelancer;
Experience with Adobe suite, prototyping, animation (Lottie, Jitter etc), interaction design, web and conversional analytics.
