Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with expertise in Stripe integration, cloud infrastructure, and hosting, as well as proficiency in technologies like AWS, DigitalOcean, and CI/CD pipelines (Github/Bitbucket). You will play a pivotal role in the development, scaling, and optimization of our backend systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working with webhooks, RabbitMQ, and familiarity with Laravel Octane to build robust, high-performance backend applications.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend systems.
Integrate third-party APIs, particularly Stripe, for payment processing.
Work with cloud infrastructure (AWS, DigitalOcean) to deploy and manage applications.
Implement, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Github or Bitbucket.
Develop and maintain webhooks for seamless communication between systems.
Use RabbitMQ or other messaging queues for asynchronous tasks and communication.
Ensure the application is secure, scalable, and optimized for performance.
Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to create solutions that meet business requirements.
Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing systems to enhance performance and scalability.
Stay updated with the latest backend technologies, tools, and industry trends.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven experience as a Senior Backend Developer with expertise in building scalable backend architectures.
Strong experience with payment processing using Stripe (integration, API management).
Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS and DigitalOcean for application hosting and deployment.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Github/Bitbucket) for automated testing, deployment, and continuous integration.
Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Webhooks, RabbitMQ, and other messaging or event-driven systems.
Experience with building, optimizing, and scaling applications in a cloud-based infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of server-side languages (PHP, Python, Node.js, etc.).
Experience with Laravel Octane or similar high-performance frameworks is a big plus.
Proficient in database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL.
RabbitMQ, and familiarity with Laravel Octane is good to have not must.
Strong understanding of software development principles, system design, and architecture.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices.
Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
Ability to optimize and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and ensure cost-efficiency.
Knowledge of serverless architecture and event-driven systems.
Prior experience working in an agile development environment.
