We’re a remote-first team spread across more than 10 countries, helping software makers grow globally with our βbusiness in a boxβ solution. We handle payment processing, subscription management, sales tax compliance, licensing, and analytics so they can focus on building amazing products.
There are no nap pods or kombucha on tap, but if you’re hungry to build, ready to take ownership, and energized by meaningful work that pushes you out of your comfort zone, you probably belong here.
We ship fast, learn as we go, and take ideas from spark to live in days. This is an exciting time to join Freemius as we’re rapidly growing and transforming how software products are sold in the WordPress and micro-SaaS market.
About the role
Freemius is hiring a new podcast host.
This is not a presenter role. It is an editorial role with a microphone.
Formerly known as plugin.fm, the Freemius podcast is a long-form podcast for software makers. We produce content for mostly micro SaaS, indie developers, WordPress plugin authors, and small software teams building real products. The show works because conversations are sharp, opinionated, and grounded in real operating experience.
We’re looking for someone who can carry that forward.

- Comfortable challenging guests, asking follow-ups, and cutting through vague answers.
- Able to prep deeply while keeping conversations natural.
- Clear spoken communication. No filler. No buzzwords.
- Curious, well-read, and opinionated.
- Reliable with prep, recording schedules, and follow-ups.
- Strong social media presence, able to help us source guests & promote the show.
