Senior Frappe/ERPNext Functional Consultant

rtCamp uses the Frappe framework to build custom applications and SaaS products, such as GoDAM and EasyEngine. We also use ERPNext internally as well as to transform client business processes.

We’re looking for a Senior Frappe/ERPNext Functional Consultant who can analyze business requirements, design workflows, and translate them into Frappe/ERPNext specifications. This role involves working closely with clients, product managers, and developers to ensure high-quality ERPNext implementations and custom app/SaaS solutions powered by Frappe. Key Responsibilities

1. Partner with SaaS clients to analyze business needs, product goals, and user journeys.
2. Translate requirements into functional specs, workflows, wireframes, and user stories.
3. Collaborate with developers to ensure clear handoff and successful implementation.
4. Conduct gap analysis between out-of-the-box Frappe/ERPNext features and custom requirements for SaaS products.
5. Assist in product roadmap planning and prioritization for outsourced development.
6. Support UAT, client demos, and documentation.
7. Ensure solutions are scalable and SaaS-ready (multi-tenancy, billing, integrations).

Must Haves

1. 5+ years of product/ERP consulting in Frappe/ERPNext based projects.
2. Strong understanding of how to map business requirements into custom Frappe apps and SaaS workflows.
3. Experience creating clear functional/technical specs and working with engineering teams.
4. Familiarity with SaaS concepts: subscriptions, payments, multi-tenancy, and APIs.
5. Excellent client-facing and communication skills.

Good to Have

1. ERPNext/Frappe certification.
2. Hands-on ERPNext/Frappe configuration or lightweight customization.
3. Exposure to Agile product management practices.
4. Understanding of SaaS growth levers: analytics, integrations, and user onboarding.
5. Experience in collaborating with open-source projects and communities.
