Are you a programmer who loves tinkering with infrastructure, automating workflows, and making systems scale seamlessly?
If you understand the Ops side deeply and enjoy working across WordPress, Frappe, and SaaS platforms, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage hosting & DevOps for WordPress, Frappe, and Node.js applications.
- Build and maintain autoscaling, high-availability Kubernetes clusters for production workloads.
- Automate repetitive tasks to improve accuracy, efficiency, and developer happiness.
- Debug and optimize performance issues in large-scale production setups.
- Extend and maintain our open-source projects like EasyEngine (WordPress) and Frappe Manager.
Must Haves
- Strong Linux systems experience (preferably Ubuntu/Debian) and CLI proficiency.
- Hands-on with Docker and containerization.
- Deep understanding of security and scalability in web application context
- Automation skills with Ansible or equivalent.
- Networking and server hardening (iptables, firewalls, TLS, etc.).
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.
Good to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Exposure to Kubernetes and container orchestration at scale.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Monit).
- Good grasp of programming languages such as Python, PHP.
