rtCamp uses the Frappe framework to build custom applications and SaaS products, such as GoDAM and EasyEngine. We also use ERPNext internally as well as to transform client business processes.
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Frappe/ERPNext) who can deliver high-quality Frappe apps and custom development and is also excited to open-source tools and frameworks in the Frappe ecosystem. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom applications, modules, and integrations on Frappe/ERPNext.
- Work with project managers and clients to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce coding standards.
- Optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure scalability and reliability.
- Actively contribute to Frappe and ERPNext open-source projects, including bug fixes, feature development, and community support.
Must Haves
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Frappe Framework and ERPNext development.
- Proficiency in architecting complex ERP modules, workflows, custom DocTypes, roles, and permissions.
- Strong Python development skills, with experience building and maintaining SaaS backends and/or ERP-grade applications.
- Track record of open-source contributions to Frappe or related projects (please include GitHub or public repo links in your application).
- Understanding of MariaDB/MySQL, REST APIs, and modern JavaScript.
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Good to Have
- Frappe Framework certification.
- Experience deploying and scaling Frappe/ERPNext in production environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in the Frappe ecosystem.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
