Multi-Talented Designer

📍 Location: Remote

At Team Rymera, we are on the hunt for a creative and insightful UI/UX Designer with a sharp mind and great design instincts to join our innovative team.

As a versatile designer with a strong background in both UI and UX, your primary role will be to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that provide seamless user experiences. You will play a crucial role in designing key user experiences for our eCommerce tools, contributing to products that are used daily by over 50,000+ active store owners.

Our mission is to empower store owners to grow their eCommerce stores, and your job will be integral in making that process easier and more intuitive.

Responsibilities

  • Create thoughtful UX and produce visually appealing UIs that meet the needs of store owners
  • Rework existing product UIs to enhance user experiences
  • Develop style guides, icons, logos, and mascot illustrations to maintain brand consistency
  • Design marketing site UI/UX, including landing pages, website designs, banners, and thumbnails
  • Create designs for social media, blog, and advertising materials, especially during sales periods
  • Design internal company rewards, swag items, and event materials as needed

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years experience as a graphic designer
  • Minimum of 1 year working remotely
  • Expertise in design software like Figma and Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
  • Exceptional written & spoken English with effective communication skills
  • Proactive initiative and willingness to take on responsibilities
  • Comfort in receiving and applying constructive feedback
  • A producer mindset with the flexibility to adapt to changing needs
  • Possibility of growing into management roles in the future

Location

This is a remote position – our team is spread out all over the world.

The company is based in Brisbane, Australia so company operating hours are 9am to 5pm AEST (UTC +10). While it’s not required that you cover that exact timezone, you must be available during a significant portion of the day for informal/formal meetings & work assignments.

Other Requirements

  • Your own laptop/desktop computer system.
  • Reliable broadband internet connection – Ideally a fibre connection + access to a phone/wifi backup.
  • Availability to participate in audio/video meetings between 9am to 5pm AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time).
  • A webcam and a quiet place to work.
