In this role, you will manage both projects and teams towards Delivery success. You’ll use your technical and functional understanding of WordPress to bring strategic value to some of the largest multinational corporations, government agencies, and public listed companies in the world.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Outcome/Delivery Ownership: ability to drive a team to tangible, value-producing delivery outcomes aligned with Client’s business goals.
2. Project initiation: Run information through a checklist to flag anything missing early on, conduct project initiation meetings, design work breakdowns, timelines, demo schedules, and meeting frequency, and identify the most important KPIs.
3. Project Execution: There are many processes common across all our projects, but some are set by the client. You need to ensure that project execution remains smooth, accounting for differences, without compromising on KPIs.
4. Setup, Facilitation, and Action on Meetings: As PM you will schedule, set agendas, facilitate, track meeting notes and action items for all routine project calls, inclusive of standups, backlog prioritization, stakeholder meetings, etc.
5. Primary Client/Project Point of Contact and Facilitator: Serve as the primary liaison for the client, facilitating the sharing of requests, goals, and challenges. Take proactive and effective action on all client requests, promptly following up to uphold a strong client relationship. Additionally, proactively follow up with clients, their vendors, and our team to resolve any project blockers and ensure the procurement of necessary resources for successful delivery
6. Team & Time Management: Manage the team’s workload based on priority, verify the timesheet, convey the feedback timely, support growth planning of your POD team members. Handle 4 to 6 active client projects day to day.
7. Reporting: Generating, and analyzing, reporting on a routine basis to provide clients with tangible visibility into the project’s progress, blockers, successes.
8. Maintain Project Details: Update Internal documents and process regularly. Write minutes of meetings, internal notes for projects and internal meeting.

Must Haves

1. Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience with WordPress technical understanding, delivering projects successfully. We do not expect you to run to a developer or technical analyst for simple client questions. You are expected to handle most user-level support yourself.
2. Proficient using Google Workspace (G Suite) products
3. Knowledge about Project Management Tools (JIRA, GitHub, Asana, Trello, other PMS tools)
4. Scrum, Agile process understanding.
5. Self-management skills to operate dependably in a Fully Remote working culture, flexibility to work in different timezones based on client’s business needs.
6. Strong English communication skills (Verbal & Written)
7. Well aware of client business goals and objectives. Able to identify strategic opportunities to engage with client team and stakeholders to collaborate building strong, long-term client relationships.
8. Proficiency in publishing, e-commerce, or enterprise CMS industries is crucial. Given that most of our clients operate in these sectors, we anticipate our Project Manager to possess domain knowledge, minimizing reliance on other team members.
9. Experience in managing remote teams. Our workforce and clients are remote and distributed across the globe. This is also a reason why Project Management at rtCamp demands some technical WordPress knowledge and business domain understanding.
10. Re-platforming, project discovery, and project execution experience.
11. Set clear expectation with internal and external team, and get things done on time.
12. Experience with delivering presentations, addressing questions, and gathering feedback.
