Director of Business Development – US

📍 Location: Remote (United States)

rtCamp, est. 2009, is a leading WordPress consultancy firm, helping enterprises build and manage powerful websites and applications. We’re a passionate team of WordPress experts dedicated to delivering exceptional results for our clients.

We do not believe in “spray and pray” tactics – we foster genuine conversations and build partnerships.

We are looking for someone to lead the charge for our US business development efforts! To craft a killer strategy, to identify companies facing digital experience challenges, and to become their trusted advisor, working collaboratively to find the perfect solution.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement a business development strategy to build sales pipeline in the US market, ensuring consistent deal flow and keep the momentum going.
  2. Craft winning pitches and presentations that showcase rtCamp’s solutions and secure new business partnerships, expanding our client universe.
  3. Represent rtCamp at various industry conferences and events. Optional, but bonus points for a rock star stage presence!
  4. Cultivate and nurture leads through relationship building and outreach.
  5. Collaborate with rtCamp’s marketing, development, and other teams to drive business growth – we’re all in this together!
  6. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and celebrate your wins!

Must Haves

  1. 5+ years of proven success in B2B business development leadership, consistently crushing revenue targets.
  2. Prior experience in DXP platforms such as AEM, Kentico, Drupal is a plus, bonus points for platform fluency.
  3. Lead generation experience with a knack for spotting potential in target industry.  Proficiency in LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus.
  4. Communication, presentation, and negotiation skills that inspire trust and build strong relationships
  5. Experience or willingness to work with a remote sales team – you’ll be their Yoda!
