About the Position
You, our future Paid Media Consultant, are motivated and highly engaged from the beginning. We offer the opportunity for you to contribute to the ongoing growth of our Paid Media department by cultivating strong client relationships and assisting in Knucklepuck’s marketing efforts to help us grow this portfolio.
We are looking for someone who can step in and make an immediate impact on our Paid Media team. We need someone who can identify campaign optimization opportunities and execute a tactical plan to drive Paid Media growth. We expect you to understand how to review budget allocations, keywords, audiences, and ad copy to identify ways to improve messaging and calls to action.
The Paid Media Consultant is critical to the success of our marketing arm and will help shape Knucklepuck’s growth, ensuring we are delivering modern and innovative solutions that drive results.
This is a client-facing role, so you will engage directly with our clients to align on expectations, communicate the progress of our Paid Media initiatives, and report on the impact of those initiatives. We hire for soft skills because these are critical for removing roadblocks and advancing our Paid Media efforts.
You will report to the VP of Client Services and will work closely with our Senior Paid Media Consultant, and other marketing team members to support Knucklepuck’s growing client portfolio. You must be able to take direction, accept feedback, and cultivate strong professional relationships both externally (with clients, experts, sources, etc.) and internally (with colleagues across departments at all levels within the company).
Success in this role means driving client success that results in strong client retention, referrals, and expansion opportunities for Knucklepuck. You need to be a true team player who is enthusiastic about applying your expertise to share in our growth.

- Experienced digital marketers with 2-4 years of Paid Media strategy and execution (especially with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Meta Ads) and project management experience. Additional platform experience nice-to-have.
- Able to provide creative and landing page recommendations. Hands-on experience with landing page builders (HubSpot, Unbounce, etc) is a plus.
- Comfortable using common reporting tools (GA4, Looker Studio) to convey detailed insights with actionable takeaways.
- Results-focused with an emphasis on execution of Paid Media strategies to deliver successful client outcomes.
Strong verbal and written communicators with an ability to coordinate effectively between Knucklepuck and our Paid Media clients.
- Detail-oriented and organized to help manage tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Creative problem-solvers and strategic thinkers with an ability to adapt to shifting priorities while still maintaining
- progress toward strategic objectives
- Passionate about the digital space and how search engines connect businesses and consumers online
- Familiar with Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Drive
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing and retaining Knucklepuck’s Paid Media clients. This includes producing and executing project plans, running client meetings, and managing expectations internally and externally. This is a client-facing role where project management is a crucial skill
- Supporting fellow Paid Media team members on medium to large retainer projects, including strategic deliverables and reporting
- Capturing feedback and action items from client meetings to document next steps in Knucklepuck’s project management system (Asana)
- Conducting audits of current client’s digital footprint and use insights to drive ongoing Paid Media strategy and campaign performance
- Advising clients and fellow team members on Paid Media best practices for performing bid & budget management, optimizing ad copy, keywords, etc.
- Researching competitors to determine additional strategic Paid Media opportunities based on industry trends
- Keeping clients and fellow team members up to date on new trends, algorithms, and digital tactics
- Using insights from client analytics to inform ongoing strategy and to proactively pivot based on campaign performance
- Identifying opportunities for client upsells and cross-sells
- Assisting in developing case studies that highlight the successes of Paid Media clients, as delegated by Management
- Contributing to company thought leadership by developing blog content related to Paid Media strategy and expertise
- Contributing towards updating the Paid Media deliverable/process templates to improve efficiency and the quality of services offered
It would be great if you have:
- Agency experience, managing multiple clients/projects at once
- Published Paid Media thought leadership
- Familiarity with web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, GA4, Google Tag Manager)
- Google Analytics Certification, Google Ads Certification, Bing Ads Certification.
- Experience with landing page development, conversion rate optimization (CRO), WordPress, and/or website development
Salary
Base salary range is $55-$70k USD. Your final offered compensation will be determined by your skills, thought leadership, and experience.
