We are seeking a technical content writer with 1-3 years of experience to join our growing team. In this role, you will write the technical documentation for our customers, hosting partners, and internal teams. You would also help us with long-form technical tutorials and how-to guides. The responsibilities section below will give you a rough idea of what your day to day tasks would look like. We expect someone flexible with timing and dedicated to work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and update technical documentation of our platform, product and services.
- Create and update our how-to guides and blog posts in different content marketing platforms.
- Help the marketing and content team with briefs and plans on technical terms.
- Learning about WordPress’s new features and plans, web hosting tools, web development, server technologies, best dev ops practices, and sharing with our audience.
- Video skills also to record technical walk-throughs.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in IT or computer science is preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience.
- Extensive knowledge of WordPress.
- Eager to read, research, and do technical writing, particularly in technology and WordPress.
- Break down complex technical concepts into simple, easy-to-understand terms for diverse audiences.
- Attention to detail and require minimal supervision.
